St. Joseph Award Recipients

Jody Giacomini & Jim Gilmer

The St. Joseph Award is presented annually to a member of the Holy Family High School community who exemplifies our Mission and Vision in their daily lives and further demonstrates their passion for Holy Family in all they contribute through time, talent, and treasure.  We are honored to give our 6th Annual St. Joseph Award to Jody Giacomini & Jim Gilmer.

A simple visit to Nativity Catholic School to place their son on a waiting list became the beginning of a lifelong commitment to Catholic education, especially to Holy Family High School.

Their involvement began with support for school athletics and naturally grew into deeper engagement, meaningful relationships, and a genuine understanding of what it means to belong to the Holy Family community.

Jim, who is being honored posthumously, came from a uniquely close-knit school experience as a graduate of Lincoln American High School in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Jody grew up attending the same small country school in Logan County that her father once did. In Holy Family, they found the spirit of both of those formative places, a community rooted in faith, tradition, and deep connection.

Holy Family High School reminds Jody and her family of where they came from and why it matters that this school remains open, accessible, and welcoming to every family who desires a Catholic education. Tonight, we are proud to honor Jim’s lasting legacy and the dedication he and Jody have shown to the mission of Holy Family.
